The Krooztune Linkage Knuckle changes the rear suspension leverage curve to deliver smoother, more linear action on your Yamaha YZ450F or YZ250F.

Designed to work with the standard Yamaha pull arms, it helps reduce the abrupt feel through square-edge bumps and larger impacts, delivering improved comfort, traction and a more predictable rear-end response.
Developed through Krooztune testing, it’s particularly suited to Vet riders, juniors and C–B grade racers looking for a more forgiving setup.
What Changes on Track?
The standard Yamaha linkage offers strong support for aggressive riding, deep ruts and heavy seat-bounce situations. For some riders, that resistance can feel firm or abrupt.
The Krooztune knuckle delivers a more progressive-feeling use of travel through its more linear leverage curve, helping the rear suspension absorb bumps smoothly and maintain traction over rough ground.

This product replaces the centre linkage knuckle only and retains your OEM Yamaha pull arms.
Spring Rate & Shock Setup
The revised leverage curve changes how the shock spring and damping support the bike. We recommend increasing the spring rate by one step as a starting point, then confirming the correct rate for your weight and riding requirements.
Example: 56 N/mm → 58 N/mm
The knuckle can be used with standard shock valving, with the best results achieved when spring rate, sag and damping are matched to the rider.
For a complete setup, Krooztune can tailor your shock settings to suit the linkage, your riding level and track conditions.
